Service sends remote machine information to dealers, who recommend the best use of the equipment

DULUTH, Ga. – August 30, 2017 – Valtra celebrates the sale of its first Fuse® Connected Services package in the country. The first agreement of the precision agriculture service was signed in Cruz Alta (RS), during the business event “Portas Mais Abertas”, which brought special offers and negotiations to customers.

Fuse® Connected Services is AGCO’s global program for service, which focuses on distant machine monitoring by dealers, giving farmers a complete solution for preventive maintenance and machine optimization. The package was already offered in a pilot format to farmers and now, even more advanced, is being marketed by authorized Valtra dealers.

Fuse® Connected Services is organized in three basic levels. On level 1, the customer has remote access to machine information. On Level 2, the dealer acts in the proactive monitoring of the machines of his customer, interpreting the data and recommending the best use of the equipment, as well as preventive maintenance. In this case, the customer decides whether or not to execute the recommendations made by the dealer. Additionally, on level 3, the dealer monitors, analyzes the data and executes the solution for possible problems, with a thorough before and post-harvest inspection, assuming the responsibility for the maintenance management of the machines, delivering them ready to be used in the field.

“The use of these systems is a trend, because the producer starts to gain greater control and connectivity throughout the production cycle. In addition, preventive maintenance is more economical, since the components can be adjusted as soon as they present any operational shortfall, ensuring that the machine will always work in the best conditions”,

says Gerson Filippini Filho, Valtra’s Fuse® product marketing coordinator. The successful partnership was carried out with the initiative of the dealer Razera Agrícola, which has been acting as official representative of the brand in the region of Passo Fundo (RS) since 2001. “By offering the Fuse® Connected Services, we will bring more benefit and convenience to our customers by improving our product performance, offering the best productivity rates on Valtra machines,” said Iomar Pedro Razera, director of Razera. In addition to Fuse® Connected Services, Valtra offers other technological solutions, such as Auto-GuideTM 3000 automatic guidance, available in three levels of precision (sub-meter, decimeter or centimeter), and able to guarantee precise application without waste on sprayers BS3120H HiTech.
