AGCO introduces Solinftec to the South America Farm Solutions Program, which will provide additional smart farming tools for customers to fully optimize their farms.
Ribeirão Preto (SP), April 25, 2019 – AGCO, a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment, announces the addition of Solinftec to the agronomic solutions package, called Farm Solutions, at Agrishow 2019. The farm show takes place from April 29 to May 3. The announcement builds on the recent launch of Farm Solutions in South America, which included new partners Tecgraf and InCeres. The expanding product and service package is a direct result of AGCO’s Fuse® open strategy, bringing solutions to the market that can be integrated with other technologies and partners.
AGCO recently added Solinftec as a global partner and is excited to include the ag tech solutions provider in the Farm Solutions program in South America, in order to provide smarter and more efficient offerings to AGCO customers in that region. The addition of Solinftec strengthens AGCO’s ability to solve the unique challenges of each grower’s day-to-day business. The solutions will be available for AGCO customers through their local Massey Ferguson and Valtra dealers, and more partners may be added based on customer needs.
InCeres, Tecgraf and Solinftec each add knowledge and experience in solutions designed to provide control, efficiency and consistency at each stage of the crop cycle. These partnerships focus on improving the performance and precision of the specified crops, with data analysis for controlled traffic planning, sustainable soil management solutions and management of connected operations on a single platform, using the data collected to improve efficiency of the operation. The Farm Solutions offerings enhance the benefits of AGCO technologies such as the Auto-Guide™ 3000, Fieldstar®II yield monitor, and variable-rate seed and fertilizer application control systems.
“The Farm Solutions program is designed to assist farmers in the process of transitioning to digital farming, which requires the collection of information on all processes in the field in real time. Our intention is to offer a consolidated service platform that enables farmers to make wiser and faster decisions, guaranteeing machine efficiency and increased profitability in the field,” says Niumar Aurélio, Marketing supervisor for Fuse South America.
Founded in Araçatuba (SP), Solinftec offers solutions that capture and process data in real time and online, focusing on improving the existing operational ecosystem on the farm. The company’s solutions are made up of different layers of hardware, telecommunications and software. In addition to these tools, Solinftec has developed a wide range of software solutions that solve important challenges for the most diverse regions and crops. Solinftec’s services are now available in Brazil for growers of sugarcane, soybean, corn and cotton and will be presented to US farmers for the 2020 season.
Empowering growers to join the “digital agriculture age” correlates with AGCO’s strategic vision of providing high-tech solutions to help feed the world. With Solinftec joining InCeres and Tecgraf as part of the Farm Solutions program, South American farmers are well-positioned to maximize their opportunities to be more efficient from both the machine and agronomic perspectives.
